La Reina Coatlicue sits on a quiet corner of East 112th Street, where the smell of fresh tortillas mingles with the morning coffee and the sound of laughter spills onto the sidewalk after dark.

We are a café by day and a bar by night — a place where neighbors come for breakfast coffee and stay for the conversation, where families gather for Sunday tamales, and where friends raise glasses to mezcal margaritas under warm lights.

Our recipes come from Oaxaca, Puebla, and the markets of Mexico City. Every mole is ground by hand. Every tortilla is pressed fresh. We believe that the best antojitos aren't complicated — they're just made with care.
